Groove Coaster 2 is the continuation of one of the best rhythm video games of the last couple of years, which was originally launched exclusively for iOS devices, but has now landed on Android as well.
The gameplay in Groove Coaster 2 is exactly what you would expect from a good rhythm game. You control a tiny beat (which you can change for other objects) located on the center of the screen. Using your fingertips, you have to do certain gestures that correspond to the rhythm of the music. When you see a dot, you have to press once; when you see a line, you have to keep your finger pressed; a broken line means that you have to tap repeatedly; and so on.
On paper, the gameplay might sound a little too simple, but far from it, as you advance you see that, besides the basic moves, you also have to do gestures with two fingers, in diagonal, and other surprises like these.
In total, Groove Coaster 2 has more than 800 different levels, distributed throughout more than 150 songs. It'a huge quantity of music that you can enjoy, specially if you use headphones. You can even play by improvising other controls (clapping, hitting the table, etc.).
Groove Coaster 2 is an excellent rhythm game. Not for nothing it has Taito's quality seal, which is one of most experienced video game companies.
